Our Egress Widow Install Process

Preparation

When preparing for an egress window, the excavation dimension should be as follows. Depending on the size of a new egress window, hole sizes will vary 4 feet out from the wall, one foot out from vertical rough opening cut lines, and 18" below the bottom horizontal cut line. This allows room for the safe operation of equipment and the installation of a window well. With a properly dug hole, cuts are straight and square, whether hand sawing or track sawing.
